The Most Special Day of Your Life!

"Steps to Joy" was birthed from a heart overflowing with love for God, because of all the wonderful things He has provided for those who love Him (like forgiveness of sins and eternal life). This being true, it recently came to me that there might be numbers of people looking at this site who are interested in music and want to know more about the Lord too.

How can we obtain this true joy?
If you were to die today would you go to Heaven? How would you answer? You might say "I hope so" or "I don't know."
Taking the next few minutes to read the following could change your life.

How To Get To Heaven:

1. Recognize you have missed God's plan for you by going your own way. Confess you are a sinner and have missed the mark. (This means you humble your heart and repent...turn around and go a life-giving direction). You can never be good enough to earn your way to heaven. Then it is human works, and not a free gift of God.
Sin costs you everything and its wages are death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. There is no way you can ever earn it. Jesus is God's only begotten son who died for you on the cross as YOUR substitute. Wow! What a trade. He took the punishment the I should have had, and when I accept Him into my heart by faith, I get eternal life instead of eternal punishment!

2. Ask the Lord for His guidance every morning, and to give you His power and strength to live for Him. Reject anything that you know to be wrong. As you do, you will find greater peace and joy than you ever dreamed possible. No one is ever too bad. To whom much is forgiven, love much!
In short, here is what opens wide the door to Heaven and all the peace and joy of life here and now:

Admit you have sinned.Accept Christ as you Lord and Savior - (repent and believe ) and receive His cleansing.
Get into a local church and tell others what has happened to you.
Thank Him for leading you each day.I call the Bible my'" munchies" I love His Word. It is His " love book" to us.

If you don't know how to pray, it is just like talking to God. Here is a pray you can pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You in the name of Jesus, and You know all about me. I know now that You love me anyway. Thank You for forgiving me of my sin ( and helping me to forgive myself) and cleansing me by the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank You I now have eternal life, and my name is written in the "Lamb's Book of Life" (Your reservation for Heaven).
I need You Lord to help me live for You each day. I surrender my life to You.
Thank You Lord. In Jesus Name, amen.

Let us know of your decision and how we can help. You only have to pray to receive Jesus once. I felt so unworthy I prayed almost everyday to receive the Lord for six years! You can pray to the Lord for help and guidance everyday, but you don't have to keep praying to accept Jesus! When you ask Him into your heart, He comes in! May the God of all comfort keep you each day by His loving grace. You are loved!
