God - You're my God! I can't get enough of you! I've worked up such hunger and thirst for God, traveling across dry and weary deserts.

So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last! My lips brim praises like fountains. I bless you every time I take a breath; my arms wave like banners of praise to you.

33 Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it [unto] the end.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with [my] whole heart.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; [and] quicken thou me in thy way.

I clicked on NO and went on trying to view the site. A few seconds later it happened again only this time to my surprise, I checked Yes.

An audio player came up where I could listen to music, and a flash presentation began.

I sat there a bit amazed and stunned. Then the real life lesson came to me.

How often is the Lord trying to get our attention not with a sqeaking abrasive vioce, but a gentle voice sometimes by the clutter of our own lives we miss.

Dear Heavenly Father, how awesome You are, so great in power and majesty, and wonderful in the mighty things You do daily in our lives. You gently humble our hearts (usually) and graciously show Your lovingkindness which is unquestionable.

How undeserving we are of Your love, and how You long to have that intimate fellowship with us that You created us for.

Dear Lord, take away the junk that so easily blocks us from having the eyes of our understanding enlighted to understand in a greater deminsion the marvelous ways You have for us. I choose to click on YES to You in every way. You make tears come to my eyes in such little ways to show such gigantic principles of your love and grace that lead us into Your presence. How grateful we are and how faithful You are, always with our best interest at hand. Forgive us, forgive me for not appreciating Your word more.

Help us not to take anything for granted this year Lord, but to trust You ultimately in all areas.

Lead us not into tempation, but deliver us from evil. You alone are God.

In the mighty name of Jesus, a-men.

"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

The eyes of you understanding being enlightened the you may know what is the hope of His calling , and what the riches of the glory of His inheiritance in the saints.

Dear Lord, help us to keep a very short chord to you so that we are quick to confess sin and ask for forgiveness and cleansing. Thank You so much for being a merciful God, and a just God. In Jesus name, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, how we love You and worship You. Thank You for the price You have paid so we could have gaciously received Your grace, Your freedom, and Your joy plus so much more. Help us to walk in Your was and to truly know Your heart. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

In a woodsy area of our place a very unusual event occurred As I was watering the flowers, I was trying to make the spray hit where I could not quite reach with the hose. As I proceeded to water by the tall white foxgloves, a hummingbird came on the scene, and not wanting to disturb him, I moved to another area quite a ways away. Suddenly the little bird flew by and then back again. He rather seemed to dart at the water so I gently moved the spray slightly. To my amazement, the little bird followed and lit on an azalea plant beneath the gentle spray of water. I had never seen anything like that. I continued to let the spray go over the bird when he flew up in the air and perched on a nearby rhododendron bush about eight feet away from me What followed was truly delightful. The little bird flew up and grabbed some of the droplets of water from the spray several times, and then again settled on the branch. He lifted himself and stretched his wings like an airplane and then repeated the series of events. It was really cute. Then he rolled his head back and forth on the branch, and looked straight up to the sky. The little expressions were so sweet, it almost seemed like he had a peaceful smile on his face. I wondered why he did seem afraid. He just seemed very grateful. Maybe he was a young hummingbird.Then the scripture came to me “Thou openest Thy hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing (even little hummingbirds).The Lord is righteous in all His ways and holy in all His works. The Lord is near to all those who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will satisfy the desire of them that fear Him. He will hear their cry and will save them.” Psalm 145:16-19

It came to me after I wrote this yesterday that the Gospels speak about the Lord’s care for us. He knows how many hairs you have or don’t have on your head. A little sparrow cannot fall to the earth without Him knowing. He knows the stars the sky and calls them by special names. This is not an impersonal God but one who gave His very life just for you :) John 3:16.

O dear Heavenly Father, You are so great. We feel so humbled by the tender things you do. Help us walk worthy of You Lord. May Your name be lifted up in praise. Have a great day special ones. You are truly loved and cared for.
Hello special ones. It is June 29th, 2004.

Something very cool happened with one of the students today. Luke was in my first grade class and is now in Jr. High. I have had the privilege of teaching him piano the last couple of years. He is gifted, but recently his schedule has been hectic and his practice has suffered. I had done an arrangement of a worship chorus, and then began to teach him about improvisation. He jumped up and down clapping his hands as the reason for the techniqca ldegree name of a scale, chord inversion and chord progressions all
began to make since. He listened as I played the song , and then told me I should be playing all over town. I told him our
younger son also said that, and my answer was that my passion was to teach. It is so rewarding."Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could think or even ask because of the power of God at work within us. Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. a-men!" Eph 3:20-21. A_MEN!!
Hello special ones. It is Jan. 28th,2004.Last night a student called me to ask for scriptures about comfort, with the meaning of safe. She was writing a report for a High School class. I had about ten that came to my mind. (Actually, that is one of the most reassuring things about the Bible) There was one however I did not know where to find. As I was speaking to the students, I looked down and there through a large sate on top of it was the verse!!!!!” In the multitude of my thoughts within me, Thy comforts delight my soul.” Psalm 64:19.O faithful Lord, Your love never ceases to amaze me. Your tenderness is too much, and Your greatness unsearchable. You continue over these many years to surprise and delight me. Let me be a pleasing daughter to You, Papa. I see Him as a Knight in shinning armor coming in and taking care of all that would trouble us. In my devotions today however, I felt Him say “trust Me and don’t doubt. Believe, and do not be anxious.” It is wonderful”The Lord your God shall fight (and defeat your enemies) for you... and ye shall hold your peace.(another translation says remain in peaceful rest.)Zep 3:17 say” you shall be quieted and at rest in His love, He will joy over you with singing.” He is so powerful to defeat our enemies, yet so tender He sings love songs of comfort to us. It is Jan. 15th.2004.In my morning devotions I really read this portion over and over As I did the Lord gave me a mind picture. It was a person grabbing the umbrella of God’s loving kindness and flying carefree. In my heart right now i want to jump up and grab the handle. We are seated by faith in the heavenly places it says in Eph. I have to pray about this..”Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him upon them that hope in his mercy.To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.Our soul waiteth for the lord. He is our help and shield.For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His Holy Name.Let Thy mercy be upon us O Lord as we hope in Thy mercy.” Ps. 33:18-22.As I type this this morning, my heart is so touched by the presence of the Almighty God. I need to be on my face before Him. How wonderful You are Almighty God. Your word brings tears of joy and gratitude to our eyes as Your presence is so precious. We stand in awe of Your Holiness and worship You. Years of trails have become steps of joy always knowing Your hand guides us. We are overwhelmed at Your goodness to us. Be our focus in a greater dimension. Help us to jump for joy as little children before as we praise and worship You. Help us to fall on our faces and totally submit everything to You. We do know we can trust you. Help our innermost being to be quieted in Your love. Permeate every fiber of our being with Your strength to carry on the call for Your glory. Thank You , thank You for being our help, strength, and protecting shield. Help us to come with our cares and anxious thoughts, cast them to You , and catch Your umbrella of hope and fly. Maybe the Lord is going deeper and drawing things to the surface.I read this scripture in my devotions this morning. “The furnace pot for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tries the hearts.”He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty and he that ruleth his spirit, than him that takes a city. Pr. 17:3 and Pr. 16 32.O dear Heavenly Father, we yield our lives to You as our Lord. We know You have the best plan for us so we submit our lives again this day. Try us that we may come forth as gold, without murmuring and complaining. We choose to jump for joy and praise You today. Help us to fear and reverence You even more. Thank You for Your watchful care and faithfulness to us.. Help us to be “more than conquerors through Christ today . May You see Your reflection as You refine us. Thank You for Your word. In the precious name of Jesus, A-men. Hello special ones. It is Jan. 12th. Recently I had something happen that was a victory for a student and myself. The student had been not focusing and what I call “game playing”, diverting and manipulating. At first, I thought he just was wound up and then I realized he was pushing the boundaries. I really like him, and talked to him about being honest, and game playing was being deceitful. I know he loves the Lord. He said”your know too much” but he was smiling in a good way of being nailed. I told him he needed to repent and not do it any more as it had become a habit in his life.This week when he walked through the door, I asked what he was not going to do and he said divert. He started to once and stopped himself. This really touched my own heart. What an example to my own life. Am I so quick to repent and then change by the power of the Holy Spirit? Not always. My heart was filled with joy as I tough of what a change I had seenin him Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!!!.I so love my students. They are like our extended family. They must know I do too. ”With my whole heart I have sought You. Let me not wander from Your commandments.” Ps.110:8O dear heavenly Father, Your are forgiving, but help us to ask and then allow the Holy Spirit to change us. Keep Your boundaries snug about us so we will not wander but bring glory to Your name. We are such a needy people Lord. Thank You that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness, and Your joy is our strength. Thank You that as we wait on You we renew our strength. We praise Your name, the name above all names. You are victor King Eternal. In the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!! The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song, I will praise Him.” Ps. 28: 7.A-men and a-men!>>>And with my song, I will praise Him.Saturday was a make up lesson day for quite a few students because of the snow earlier in the week. We are working on Ensemble numbers again. Some of the students have never played together, and it was wonderful to see the terrific attitudes of the students, how important rhythm and counting is, and the sensing of the others involved. After a long day i felt more refreshed instead of being worn out. the Lord is so good.The scripture had been one I had read over and over in the morning. I am going to type it and give it to all the students. better yet, we can memorize it. O Lord, be our only focus. Thank You for altering and adjusting us and conforming us into Your image and likeness. In Jesus mighty name.:”The Lord will give strength unto His people, the Lord will bless His people with peace” Ps. 29 the last verse.Have a praising day strengthen by the Lord,, especially if you are feeling a bit weary. I would highly suggest that you read it very slowly and watch the Holy Spirit pop scriptures out at you.It is all wonder. but verses 1-7 are so good. Then my eyes hit verse 8.”.........fret no thyself in in any wise to do evilFor the evildoer shall be cut off, but they that wait upon the Lord inherit the earth. Ps 37:8-9. We know the one in Isaiah “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up as wings of eagles. But also waiting upon the help trusting Him helps us to posses the Kingdom the Lord has for us!O dear Heavenly Father, thank You so much for Your word that strengthens us that confirms us and reassures us we can trust You with all our heart. Help us not to fret or be anxious but cast and commit our cares to you, the Maker of all. Help us to praise you before we see the answer. In the mighty name of Jesus, a-men! Hello special ones. Salvation is of the Lord.Hello special ones, This was my devotions yesterday. God so met me at the point of my need, and I responded to Him with great joy. Not only that He heard the cry of my heart, but He knew right where I was, and He cared enough to rescue me. I opened my Bible and read that scripture, and it filled my heart with such joy, because I knew God was speaking right to me. It doesn't matter if He says something hard to us as long as He's speaking to us! Are you in a whale's belly of sickness, of emotional distress, of finances, or all of the above? Cry out to God and begin to praise Him, it's so simple and we struggle so much with our problems. God is so awesome. He holds our very breath in His hands, and He loves us so much. Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive our lack of faith in You, and help us to stand firm and strong in the power of Your might. We praise and glorify Your name for Your tender loving care and Your watchfulness over our lives. Help me instead of trying to figure things out and struggling with situations, to remember to get on my knees and praise You. We cannot thank You enough for Your unfailing love. Hello special ones, It is December 2, 2003Our lives seem to be busier now than ever. I am finding myself forgetting toomany times. I finally cried out to the Lord and said I needed a magnet on my brain to keep the data in memory. I felt the warmth of His love as He told me I knew what the magnet was. Years ago while teaching in a Christian school I prayed for children who were having some problems remembering, perhaps from different reasons, perhaps not. The Lord showed me then, if I would teach them His word, He would use it to draw even the academics to their understanding. It was truly miraculous what happened that year. It so changed me too. I thought about it in regards to my recent question. I knew scripture memorization and studying God’s word was the answer. Not only does reading the word give you a greater peace, but it helps us know our wonderful Lord better.Dear Heavenly Father, how grateful we are for Your loving care. Please break through and destroy any hardness in our hearts that would block Your wonderful light. We are such a needy people , Lord. Thank you for directing us and teaching us Your way through Your word. Help us to walk more closely to You Lord. We are the heep of your pasture, and we woship You. In Jesus mighty name, amen.

In one of the most challenging times in my life of both health and family crisis, God spoke to me this morning after another day and night of tears. "Now may Jesus and God the Father who reached out of love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence, put a fresh heart in you, invigorating your work and enlivening your speech." 2 Thess. 2:15-17 Message Bible He is continuing to say,"Honey, you can not go wrong with Me. I told you I was going to build endurance into you, so take heart, I have prepared your way, and will be right with you to strengthen you for the task ahead. I will guide and help you in the least to the greatest responsibility. Trust Me my beloved, listen for my song over your life. The continuing adventure awaits, honey, lets go!Oh precious Heavenly Father, the only wise and faithful God, be exalted in my life. Forgive me for losing heart and wanting to run away. I embrace this time and run to You. You are so precious to me. Lets continue to go on the mountainous journey. I will trust You to give me hinds feet in high places, or the strength to carry on. Be comforted special ones. You are truly loved!! January 25th, 2005 A Blessing on Your Home As I was reading yesterday a scripture popped out at me. Ps.116:15 says "The voice of rejoicing and salvation in the tabernacle of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly". What sound is being heard where you live? Too many times it is murmuring and complaining, strife, unrest. Accept the Lord's best for you today. Begin to sing and praise Him in your heart and thank Him for all the faithful things He does daily for you. O Dear Heavenly Father, Your word makes us stop and reflect on Your greatness and mighty power. Help our hearts to be turned toward You and not toward our circumstances. (In your mind, see your heart turning toward the Lord.) Forgive us for stinky attitudes . Change and cleanse our heart this day, We are so-o-o-o-o excited about YOU! Help us to know You more. Your have given a promise and we thank You for helping us to hide it in our hearts and see it fulfilled in our homes today. Let the rejoicing begin. In Jesus name, A-men. Recently I visited a site that had been created for a new C D release. I was visiting on a different computer platform and this annoying cookie kept popping up that I had not incountered before. I put a high squeaky voice to the words which in essence said "Dont you want to get you own real audio player for music and flash presentations. Click here for yes no Do not show me this again I clicked on NO and went on trying to view the site. A few seconds later Don't you want to get you own real audio player for music and flash presentations. An audio player came up where I could listen to music, and a flash presentation began. I sat there a bit amazed and stunned. Then the real life lesson came to me. How often is the Lord trying to get our attention not with a sqeaking abrasive vioce, but a gentle voice sometimes by the clutter of our own lives we miss. Dear Heavenly Father, how awesome You are, so great in power and majesty, and wonderful in the mighty things You do daily in our lives. You gently humble our hearts (usually) and graciously show Your lovingkindness which is unquestionable. How undeserving we are of Your love, and how You long to have that intimate fellowship with us that You created us for. Dear Lord, take away the junk that so easily blocks us from having the eyes of our understanding enlighted to understand in a greater deminsion the marvelous ways You have for us. I choose to click on YES to You in every way. You make tears come to my eyes in such little ways to show such gigantic principles of your love and grace that lead us into Your presence. How grateful we are and how faithful You are, always with our best interest at hand. Forgive us, forgive me for not appreciating Your word more. Help us not to take anything for granted this year Lord, but to trust You ultimately in all areas. Lead us not into tempation, but deliver us from evil. You alone are God. Refuge --- a state of being covered or protected, as were we exiles on foreign turf. Ah, but we are! This world is not our home, we're just a passin' through. Our treasures are laid up somewhere Beyond the blue. Refuge --- our resource: Something [or one] to which one turns for assistance in difficulty or need, in the absence of a usual means or source of supply -- has exhausted every resource he can think of -- But LORD is not a mere foul-weather invite. God's invitation is not as a harborage to sail away from when the sea of life calms enough so we can, again, set sail on our own. Ah, but we do! The beauty in long term impairment, be we old or not, one adjusts to the growing necessity for his refuge to become his home from which he no longer roams out on his own. As a turtle is always beneath his protective shell, no question about it, we most consciously take with us our secure shelter, Christ in us --- the Spirit of the Lord. Our Lord tenderly and adequately meets our every need as (or if) we listen and heed. We listen. We listen not only out of necessity but because, in a sense, our limitations serve us as an offering to Him, though truly, horribly humbling hard! Inch by inch, thru our Father's abounding favor, our regenerating nature concaves into the Lord, a safe and glad place for mind, heart, and soul. Peace that sings; contentment that rests, and a joy that reflects a quieter assurance. With God as one's Refuge, all is well. September 27, 2004 I keep thinking of the Jews and Christians in Florida. July 9th, 2004 In a woodsy area of our place a very unusual event occurred As I was watering the flowers, I was trying to make the spray hit where I could not quite reach with the hose. As I proceeded to water by the tall white foxgloves, a hummingbird came on the scene, and not wanting to disturb him, I moved to another area quite a ways away. Suddenly the little bird flew by and then back again. He rather seemed to dart at the water so I gently moved the spray slightly. To my amazement, the little bird followed and lit on an azalea plant beneath the gentle spray of water. I had never seen anything like that. I continued to let the spray go over the bird when he flew up in the air and perched on a nearby rhododendron bush about eight feet away from me What followed was truly delightful. The little bird flew up and grabbed some of the droplets of water from the spray several times, and then again settled on the branch. He lifted himself and stretched his wings like an airplane and then repeated the series of events. It was really cute. Then he rolled his head back and forth on the branch, and looked straight up to the sky. The little expressions were so sweet, it almost seemed like he had a peaceful smile on his face. I wondered why he did seem afraid. He just seemed very grateful. Maybe he was a young hummingbird.Then the scripture came to me “Thou openest Thy hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing (even little hummingbirds).The Lord is righteous in all His ways and holy in all His works. The Lord is near to all those who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will satisfy the desire of them that fear Him. He will hear their cry and will save them.” Psalm 145:16-19 It came to me after I wrote this yesterday that the Gospels speak about the Lord’s care for us. He knows how many hairs you have or don’t have on your head. A little sparrow cannot fall to the earth without Him knowing. He knows the stars the sky and calls them by special names. This is not an impersonal God but one who gave His very life just for you :) John 3:16. O dear Heavenly Father, You are so great. We feel so humbled by the tender things you do. Something very cool happened with one of the students today. Luke was in my first grade class and is now in Jr. High. I have had the privilege of teaching him piano the last couple of years. He is gifted, but recently his schedule has been hectic and his practice has suffered. I had done an arrangement of a worship chorus, and then began to teach him about improvisation. He jumped up and down clapping his hands as the reason for the techniqca ldegree name of a scale, chord inversion and chord progressions all began to make since. He listened as I played the song , and then told me I should be playing all over town. I told him our younger son also said that, and my answer was that my passion was to teach. It is so rewarding."Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could think or even ask because of the power of God at work within us. I had about ten that came to my mind. (Actually, that is one of the most reassuring things about the Bible) There was one however I did not know where to find. We are seated by faith in the heavenly places it says in Eph. I have to pray about this..”Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him upon them that hope in his mercy.To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.Our soul waiteth for the lord. He is our help and shield.For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His Holy Name.Let Thy mercy be upon us O Lord as we hope in Thy mercy.” Ps. 33:18-22.As I type this this morning, my heart is so touched by the presence of the Almighty God. I need to be on my face before Him. How wonderful You are Almighty God. Your word brings tears of joy and gratitude to our eyes as Your presence is so precious. We stand in awe of Your Holiness and worship You. Years of trails have become steps of joy always knowing Your hand guides us. We are overwhelmed at Your goodness to us. In the precious name of Jesus, A-men. Hello special ones. It is Jan. 12th. Recently I had something happen that was a victory for a student and myself. The student had been not focusing and what I call “game playing”, diverting and manipulating. At first, I thought he just was wound up and then I realized he was pushing the boundaries. I really like him, and talked to him about being honest, and game playing was being deceitful. I know he loves the Lord. He said”your know too much” but he was smiling in a good way of being nailed. I told him he needed to repent and not do it any more as it had become a habit in his life.This week when he walked through the door, I asked what he was not going to do and he said divert. He started to once and stopped himself. This really touched my own heart. What an example to my own life. Am I so quick to repent and then change by the power of the Holy Spirit? Not always. My heart was filled with joy as I tough of what a change I had seenin him Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!!!.I so love my students. They are like our extended family. They must know I do too. ”With my whole heart I have sought You. Let me not wander from Your commandments.” Ps.110:8O dear heavenly Father, Your are forgiving, but help us to ask and then allow the Holy Spirit to change us. Keep Your boundaries snug about us so we will not wander but bring glory to Your name. We are such a needy people Lord. Thank You that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness, and Your joy is our strength. Thank You that as we wait on You we renew our strength. We praise Your name, the name above all names. We are working on Ensemble numbers again. Some of the students have never played together, and it was wonderful to see the terrific attitudes of the students, how important rhythm and counting is, and the sensing of the others involved. After a long day i felt more refreshed instead of being worn out. the Lord is so good.The scripture had been one I had read over and over in the morning. I am going to type it and give it to all the students. better yet, we can memorize it. O Lord, be our only focus. Thank You for altering and adjusting us and conforming us into Your image and likeness. We know the one in Isaiah “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up as wings of eagles. But also waiting upon the help trusting Him helps us to posses the Kingdom the Lord has for us!O dear Heavenly Father, thank You so much for Your word that strengthens us that confirms us and reassures us we can trust You with all our heart. Not only that He heard the cry of my heart, but He knew right where I was, and He cared enough to rescue me. I opened my Bible and read that scripture, and it filled my heart with such joy, because I knew God was speaking right to me. It doesn't matter if He says something hard to us as long as He's speaking to us! Are you in a whale's belly of sickness, of emotional distress, of finances, or all of the above? Cry out to God and begin to praise Him, it's so simple and we struggle so much with our problems. God is so awesome. He holds our very breath in His hands, and He loves us so much. Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive our lack of faith in You, and help us to stand firm and strong in the power of Your might. We praise and glorify Your name for Your tender loving care and Your watchfulness over our lives. Help me instead of trying to figure things out and struggling with situations, to remember to get on my knees and praise You. We cannot thank You enough for Your unfailing love. This is the true God, and eternal life.21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Hello special ones, It is December 2, 2003Our lives seem to be busier now than ever. I am finding myself forgetting toomany times. I finally cried out to the Lord and said I needed a magnet on my brain to keep the data in memory. I felt the warmth of His love as He told me I knew what the magnet was. Years ago while teaching in a Christian school I prayed for children who were having some problems remembering, perhaps from different reasons, perhaps not. The Lord showed me then, if I would teach them His word, He would use it to draw even the academics to their understanding. It was truly miraculous what happened that year. It so changed me too. I thought about it in regards to my recent question. I knew scripture memorization and studying God’s word was the answer. Not only does reading the word give you a greater peace, but it helps us know our wonderful Lord better.Dear Heavenly Father, how grateful we are for Your loving care. Please break through and destroy any hardness in our hearts that would block Your wonderful light. We are such a needy people , Lord. Thank you for directing us and teaching us Your way through Your word. Help us to walk more closely to You Lord. We are the heep of your pasture, and we woship You. In Jesus mighty name, amen. Salvation is of the Lord.Hello special ones, This was my devotions yesterday. God so met me at the point of my need, and I responded to Him with great joy. Not only that He heard the cry of my heart, but He knew right where I was, and He cared enough to rescue me. I opened my Bible and read that scripture, and it filled my heart with such joy, because I knew God was speaking right to me. It doesn't matter if He says something hard to us as long as He's speaking to us! Are you in a whale's belly of sickness, of emotional distress, of finances, or all of the above? Cry out to God and begin to praise Him, it's so simple and we struggle so much with our problems. God is so awesome. He holds our very breath in His hands, and He loves us so much. Dear Heavenly Father, please forgive our lack of faith in You, and help us to stand firm and strong in the power of Your might. We praise and glorify Your name for Your tender loving care and Your watchfulness over our lives. Help me instead of trying to figure things out and struggling with situations, to remember to get on my knees and praise You. We cannot thank You enough for Your unfailing love. We'll have a chance to do that for eternity. We love You so much Lord. In Jesus name, Amen. Have a hope-filled day in the Lord! This is the true God, and eternal life.21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Hello special ones, It is December 2, 2003Our lives seem to be busier now than ever. I am finding myself forgetting toomany times. I finally cried out to the Lord and said I needed a magnet on my brain to keep the data in memory. I felt the warmth of His love as He told me I knew what the magnet was. Years ago while teaching in a Christian school I prayed for children who were having some problems remembering, perhaps from different reasons, perhaps not. The Lord showed me then, if I would teach them His word, He would use it to draw even the academics to their understanding. It was truly miraculous what happened that year. It so changed me too. I thought about it in regards to my recent question. I knew scripture memorization and studying God’s word was the answer. Not only does reading the word give you a greater peace, but it helps us know our wonderful Lord better.Dear Heavenly Father, how grateful we are for Your loving care. Please break through and destroy any hardness in our hearts that would block Your wonderful light. We are such a needy people , Lord. Thank you for directing us and teaching us Your way through Your word. Help us to walk more closely to You Lord. We are the heep of your pasture, and we woship You. In Jesus mighty name, amen. (Zephaniah 3:17) I would have lost heart unless I had believed in the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord, be of good cheer, and He will strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord. (Psalm 27:13-14) I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (Psalm 34:4)
